We continue to grow and today are looking for a committed, talented, star to join our team as our IT Business Senior Network & Security Admin Systems Support.

Position Summary/Objective:

As the IT Business Senior Network & Security Admin Systems Support, you will act as the primary resource for all Information Technology requests related to network Administration and support within Riverside Natural Foods.

Maintaining systems security, systems connectivity for all business groups within riverside. Provide technical guidance for new software and hardware purchases where applicable. The successful candidate be able to diagnose network related problems, manage Windows Servers, Support user and vendor requests for system access.

Define Wide area and local area topology. The candidate must possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for administration of Network systems access
  • Responsible for administration of Systems Network Security
  • Responsible for administration of Network Design and Configuration
  • Overall responsibility for configuration of switches, Servers, VPN, Routers, DMZ and firewalls.
  • Responsible for wi-fi configuration setup, support and access.
  • Responsible for project support of business iniatives that require network access and or resources
  • Responsible for providing input into DRP/BCP, including execution and prescribed testing
  • Required 5% - 10% Travel between various manufacturing sites Monitoring daily operations, including server hardware, software, and operating systems.
  • Coordinating technology installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
  • Selecting and recommending new and replacement hardware and software, when necessary.
  • Testing, troubleshooting, and modifying information systems.
  • Primary contact for all network services requests that require ITSS services.
  • Primary contact for break fix and issue resolution for network systems.
  • Responsible for PC systems configuration, including all hardware and software activities related to Networking.
  • Responsible for support of server software systems and applications.
  • Responsible for Documenting current and future processes as it relates to IT LAN and WAN systems.
  • Perform one-on-one computer training and group/class training for common and customized applications
  • Assist Manager of Information Technology with daily administration of the local network.

Primary Responsibilities (continued):

  • Primary support for active Directory administration including group policy management, scripting, and maintenance
  • Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade corporate customer’s networks and in-house servers
  • Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures.
  • Organizing, attending and participating in stakeholder meetings.
  • Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
  • Ensuring project deadlines are met.
  • Providing administrative support as needed.

  • This position reports directly to the Business Systems Manager

Qualifications

. Minimum of 4 years hands on experience working in a fast-paced Manufacturing environment managing IT infrastructure and services.

    · Experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation.

    · Proficient in computer hardware, cabling installation and support, wireless technology applications and interface, and IT security.

    · Proficient in Microsoft Windows software, including Server, Office, and Exchange O365.

    · Experience with SAP is an asset.

    · Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

    · Outstanding leadership, organizational and time management skills.

    · Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

    · A sense of urgency and a commitment to timely completion of projects.

    · Attention to detail along with a commitment to quality and confidentiality.

    . Demonstrated familiarity with the Project Management fundamentals.
