We continue to grow and today are looking for a committed, talented, star to join our team as our Maintenance Coordinator.

Position Summary/Objective:

The mandate of this position is to support the implementation of Riverside’s Asset Reliability Program at Riverside’s multi- site locations. The goal of the program is to ensure production equipment at Riverside operates at optimum efficiency and effectiveness by the implementation of Best in Class Asset Reliability Methods.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate and Uphold Riverside’s Core Values
  • Understand and enforce Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • Understand and enforce Riverside’s Food Safety policies and procedures
  • Operations Support
    • Working in a “hands- on” capacity with operations to provide timely support to ensure operational needs/ issues are met.
    • Lead, organize and co-ordinate all technical activities in a fast-paced growing manufacturing facility.
    • Assist in the development and implement Continuous Improvement projects to increase equipment reliability.
    • Asset Management:
    • Support equipment purchasing and commissioning of new equipment. Ensure spare parts are available, and that training programs and materials are in place.
    • Manage maintenance spare parts inventory to balance inventory costs and equipment needs.
    • Manage and update asset data and key equipment manuals
    • Engineering Projects
      • Management of capital projects as assigned including Project Engineering Methods

      Reporting Relationships

      • Reports to the Maintenance Supervisor
      • No direct reports

      Key Objectives

      • Machine availability metric
      • PM Schedule compliance

      Education & Qualifications

      • Undergraduate degree in Engineering
      • 1- 3 years manufacturing environment experience
      • Proven desire to learn and passion for technical fields
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Access, Excel and AutoCAD

      Skills & Abilities

      • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
      • Unplanned Maintenance
      • Gather equipment downtime information to determine priority downtime issues.
      • Assist in root cause analysis to drive corrective actions and equipment reliability.
      • Liaise with and contract outside vendors to problem solve and develop corrective actions for equipment failures. Develop one-point lessons to document corrective actions (know/do/teach)
      • Other duties as required
